it's almost

time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam's life.

Review:

(If you don't know about this series...It's super hero meets new dystopian world with a heroine that suffers from OCD, anxiety and a lack of self esteem, but is the strongest most dangerous of them all!!)

*wipes brow* WOW! That was another emotional ride. Juliette, Juliette, Juliette!!! Oh the web we weave! This book was absolutely AMAZING!!! Mafi had an EXPLOSIVE debut novel with Shatter Me and then followed up with one of my favorite novellas with Destroy Me and then THIS!!!

Ok okay let me back up! I bought this ebook for the price of $11.99, holy hell, right? I was NOT happy about that one. How could I pass it up though? It's been out for a few weeks and I don't know how I managed to wait to read it THAT long.

I read this one in less than 24 hours. I couldn't stop devouring this book. It starts a few weeks after Juliette, Adam, James and Kenji reached Omega Point. She's starting to revert back to her old ways, the doubts about herself and her "gift" are creeping back in. Adam is busy, she's busy and there are ALWAYS people around, hardly any alone time to allow their relationship to take flight and flourish.

I have to say this...Mafi is a freaking GENIUS!!! She is THEE ONLY author that has had a love triangle and actually made me switch sides. Impressive!! I always thought there was more to Warner then meets the eye, but when I read Destroy Me and got his POV, I knew this was going to get REAL GOOD!! Indeed it has!!

Adam is more douchey (is that a word?) lately. Does he have a lot to deal with? Absolutely, but it almost seemed like him and Warner did a slight switch-arou in personalities. It's tough to watch/read it happening. There are some serious new developments in Adam's life that UNRAVEL in this book. Naturally he is NOT the same.

Warner is more in love with Juliette than ever. OH LORDY, Chapter 62!!! I kept hearing about Chapter 62 and couldn't want to hear/read about all the fuss. And it surely does not dissapoint. WOW! Warner is...is...just so different and such a dynamic character. I love the character development we see in Warner throughout the books, my view of him is NOTHING like what I first thought of him at the beginning of Shatter Me. Destroy was a great way to give us more insight on him, but this solidified my love for Warner. We learn more about his childhood and even get to meet his father, Commander again...maybe a little too up close up and personal.

Yes, there is definitely action in this book too...it's not all love triangle stuff. The war begins and we get to witness that. This book also reveals more about this groups abilities in terms of their powers. We learn more about Juliette and what she's capable of, Kenji and some other characters that I don't want to spoil. :-D

Juliette's character is also evolving and you see some of the changes in this book. She's slowly gaining confidence and swallowing her doubts and doing what needs to be done for herself and for the people of Omega Point. She's brave and bold and I'm excited to continue reading about her journed in book 3.
