Early Valentine's Day Guest Post & #Giveaway with Cynthia Eden

Valentine’s Day:  Dark and Sweet

Hi, everyone!  (A big thanks to Jenese for having me over!)

Today, I’m here to talk with you about Valentine’s Day. Oh, yes, that holiday for lovers. The holiday of flowers and chocolate.

When Valentine’s Day comes around, my “wish” list is pretty simple…

Item #1: Chocolate, please.  I don’t care if the chocolate comes in a heart-shaped box. I’d be just as happy with chocolate in a Hershey’s candy bar wrapper. Just give me some!

Item #2 Flowers. Yes, I’m a traditional girl this way. I want me some flowers! (I think my husband got the hint when I recently yelled this very thing at him.  That probably wasn’t sexy. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that…)

Item #3: A romantic meal. Okay, who am I kidding? Any meal that I don’t have to prepare. Candlelight would be great. And, hey, if we could get a heart-shaped pizza for this meal (lots of pizza places offer this option for Valentine’s Day), then I’d be a happy girl.

So far, I think these items all fall into the sweet (semi-sweet?) range for Valentine’s Day. But…I often like for Valentine’s to be a bit dark, too.

My favorite Valentine’s movie? It’s not a romantic comedy. Not a story of two star-crossed lovers uniting. It’s…My Bloody Valentine (the version with Jensen Ackles—it’s Jensen! I don’t care that he plays a crazy man!).

How about a good Valentine’s Day book to add to the mix?  And by “good”—I mean…dark and sexy.  Because my upcoming release, DIE FOR ME, features a killer named Valentine.  He wants his victims to be his—forever. The guy isn’t very good at taking “no” for an answer.

I’m actually going to giveaway 2 copies of that book to commenters today—an early Valentine’s present. ;)
Would you like to win? Then tell me…what do you want for Valentine’s Day?  The winners will be randomly selected. (winners choice either ebook or paperback)
Happy (early) Valentine’s Day to you!
